The 圣安东尼奥学院 幼儿中心 provides childcare services for SAC students, 工作人员, 教师, and community according to our eligibility requirements. The 圣安东尼奥学院 Early  Childhood Center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. 1986年春天, the Center became the first NAEYC accredited center in 圣安东尼奥 and has continually been accredited. The center is licensed by Texas 健康 and Human Services and is also a Texas School Ready participant and a Texas Rising Star Provider- 4 Star Level with the City of 圣安东尼奥.

The Center is open to children, ages 12 months to 4 years (and those turning 5 yrs after the September 1 cut off for Kindergarten) of qualified 圣安东尼奥学院 students, 工作人员, 教师, and community. The program philosophy focuses on the unique ways in which 幼儿学习. It strives to meet the needs of the "whole child" including the areas of social, 情感, 物理, 认知, 有创意的, 语言发展. Data is gathered and used in combination with Brigance to help with children’s assessments of developmental growth. We are a training laboratory for Early Childhood Studies students in an early care and education program.
